Tamil actor Vijay enters politics and speaks out his political plan at first rally

Famous Tamil film actor Vijay, who forayed into politics for the first time, held a spectacular political rally in Villupuram district. At the event, Vijay shared the ideology and goals of his party Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) and explained his determination in detail to his millions of supporters.

Vijay stressed at the rally that Tamil should be considered the language of courts and temples. This is not just a language issue but a movement to revive the cultural heritage of Tamil Nadu. He held high the party flag and spoke enthusiastically to his supporters.

In his speech, Vijay said, “It is our duty to convey our ideology to the people and show them the leaders who have worked tirelessly for the people of this land.” He stressed his commitment to social equality, bringing the party to The ideology is linked to the principles of Periyar and Dr. BR Ambedkar.

Vijay’s party has special respect for women and considers Veeru Nachiyar, the first female warrior in the history of Tamil Nadu, and social activist Azharai Amar as ideological pioneers. Vijay said his party was the first to support women leadership in Tamil Nadu.

Why did Vijay enter politics?

Discussing TVK’s stance on major political issues, Vijay said the party’s ideology is inspired by Dravidianism and Tamil nationalism, describing them as the “two eyes of our land”. He did not limit TVK’s identity to a certain sect, but advocated secularism over justice, unity and social development.

Vijay explained the reason behind leaving films and joining politics, saying it was his decision to serve the public. He asked, “After a while, what are we going to do to make money? What am I going to do for the people who made my life?”
