Three members of a family were bitten by snakes in Sardarpur village in Uttar Pradesh’s Hapur district. A mother, daughter and son were killed in the accident, and the whole village was filled with an atmosphere of mourning and panic. In this matter, snake expert Dr. Debanique Mukherjee shared very important information. He said the snake was very capable and could bite three to four people at a time, which could even be fatal.
Dr. Mukherjee said the venom content of any venomous snake can reach 20 mg, and just 1-2 mg of venom is enough to kill a human. In this sense, one snake can pose a threat to the lives of many people. Dr. Mukherjee is a trained reptile expert.

Dr. Mukherjee said there are about 300 species of snakes found in India, about 60 of which have venom. Among them, 22 species of snakes live in the sea. There are four types of humans living around. The risk of death from their bite is high. Dr. Mukherjee said snakes retain their venom for their own safety. Even if one bites, it still has enough venom. Dr. Mukherjee said if a snake gets too much stimulation, it can become aggressive. He may bite if disturbed.

Experts say it’s important to seek medical attention as soon as possible if bitten by a snake. Snake venom spreads very quickly through the body, so getting to the hospital immediately can reduce the risk of death. Snakes vary in behavior and some species can be extremely dangerous. Among the snakes found in India, 22 species live in the sea and the rest live on land. Among them, the cobra, krait, viper, and Russell’s viper are considered highly venomous.

To avoid snake attacks, experts recommend taking precautions such as walking carefully in dense forests, bushes and fields, not putting your hands in mud puddles, using a flashlight when going out at night and wearing rubber shoes. If you are bitten by a snake, you should go to the hospital as soon as possible, avoid dust, and try to keep the injured person calm to prevent the effects of the poison.
