Sharad Pawar-led National Communist Party (NCP) has released another list of candidates for the Maharashtra Assembly elections. The party has announced the names of 22 candidates on this list. The NCP is contesting the elections in alliance with the Congress and Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena. The three parties decided to contest with 85-85-85 seats. The NCP had earlier announced a list of 45 candidates.

NCP fielded 45 candidates in first batch of lists
The NCP (SP) on Thursday announced the first list of 45 candidates for the upcoming Maharashtra Assembly elections. The most talked about name in this list is Yugendra Pawar, who had contested from the Baramati seat with Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar Pawar) confrontation. Yugendra is the son of Ajit Pawar’s younger brother Srinivas, so the game is considered more interesting.
Other prominent candidates are also included in this NCP (SP) list. The party’s state president Jayant Patil has been given a ticket from Islampur. Jitendra Awhad got the ticket from Mumbra-Kalwa, Anil Deshmukh got the ticket from Katol, Harshvardhan Patil got the ticket from Indapur and Rohit Patil (son of late RR Patil) got the ticket from Tasgaon-Kavathemahankal. Rohit Patil will enter politics through this election.
