Israel dispatched 100 fighter jets to attack Iranian F-35 fighter jets and destroy targets 2,000 kilometers away

Israel launched a violent attack on Iran early Saturday morning. The Israeli Army confirmed the attack and said Tehran and surrounding cities, including Iranian military bases, had been bombed. According to local Israeli media reports, the Israeli army used more than 100 fighter planes to attack Iran. Israel’s action was seen as a response to Iran’s attack on October 1.

According to the Jerusalem Post, more than 100 Israeli aircraft participated in Saturday’s attacks on Iranian military targets. This attack used F-35 fighter jets with an attack range of 2,000 kilometers. A U.S. official told Reuters that the United States was informed before the attack on Iranian military targets but was not involved in the operation.

“No attacks on nuclear facilities and oil fields”

According to the “Times of Israel” report, the National Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) quoted an unnamed Israeli official as saying that Israel did not attack Iran’s nuclear facilities or oil fields. Its focus is on military objectives. The Israeli army also confirmed that their targets were military.

“We are targeting things that have posed a threat to us in the past or could pose a threat to us in the future,” the official said. The Biden administration, while supporting Israel in countering Iranian ballistic missile attacks, has been urging Israel not to attack such targets.
