The Congress district president was expelled from the party after filing Pulpur’s nomination.

The defiance against the Congress party has proved costly for Trans-Gangetic State president Suresh Yadav. In fact, Congress president Ajay Rai issued a letter showing him the way out of the party. Gangapal district president Suresh Yadav rebelled against the party and filed his nomination from Pulpur, creating uproar in the party thereafter. The party was furious at the move, which was subsequently taken seriously by national president Ajay Rai and significant action was taken. Now, on the occasion of elections, the Gangapal district president has been relieved of his duties with immediate effect.

The letter reads that if you submit your nomination papers against the party leadership’s decision to oppose the Indian Union candidate in the Pulpur Assembly by-election, you will be removed from the District Congress Committee Prayagraj (Ganga Par) with immediate effect.

In this by-election, the Indian Union has fielded Samajwadi Party’s Mujaratbal Siddiqui as its candidate, and former Congress leader Suresh Yadav is angry about this and opposes the party and submitted a nomination.

Former Gangapal district president Suresh Yadav, who filed the nomination, has said he is not worried about any action by the party. If people call it rebellion, then keep calling it rebellion. He will contest the Pulpur by-election whether the party gives him the flag or not. Suresh Yadav also leveled serious allegations against party officials over ticket distribution. The Congress party was furious at Suresh Yadav’s move and hence took this major step and expelled him from the party.
