The ASI will not investigate the entire Gyanvapi complex and the Hindu petition has been dismissed by the court.

In the Gyanvapi case, a Varanasi court on Friday dismissed a petition from the Hindu side seeking an ASI probe into the entire complex. In the petition, Vijay Shankar Rastogi of the Hindutva Party argued that there is a 100-foot-tall Shivalinga and Argha of Lord Adi Visheshwar under the main dome of the mosque, which should be investigated archaeologically with the help of penetrating radar. He also demanded an investigation into Vajukhana, which was not conducted in the previous ASI probe. In addition to this, the rest of the basement should also be surveyed.

Hindu side lawyer Vijay Shankar Rastogi said we will challenge the lower court order in the Allahabad High Court. He said we are waiting for a copy of the court order. After the research is complete, we will go to the High Court.
