Online applications for the Prime Minister’s Internship Scheme start on October 12 and the last date is October 25. Eligible candidates who have not applied yet can register online by visiting the official website pminternship.mca.gov.in.
The internship duration of the Premier Internship Program is one year (12 months). The program aims to provide internship opportunities to 10 million youth within five years. benefit: Selected interns will receive a monthly stipend of Rs 5,000. The central government contributes Rs 4,500 while corporates add Rs 500 from the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) fund. Interns will also receive a one-time grant of Rs 6,000.
Who can apply?
Students studying online or remotely after the 12th can apply for the internship program. Applicants should be between 21 and 24 years old. Candidates above 24 years of age should not apply. Teenagers whose annual family income exceeds Rs 8 lakh or who have any family member working in the government for a long time or who have graduated from large institutions like IIT, IIM, IISER, NID, IIIT, NLU etc. cannot apply.
