Stop morning walks, better stay at home…CJI on Delhi’s toxic air

Chief Justice DY Chandrachud of the Supreme Court has expressed concern over the rising pollution in the national capital Delhi. The CJI said he had stopped his morning walk in view of the increasing air pollution in Delhi. Talking to the media, the Chief Justice said doctors had advised him to take a morning walk but considering the air pollution in Delhi, it was better to stay indoors.

I will no longer take morning walks from October 24, Justice Chandrachud said. I go for a walk around 4-15 o’clock in the morning, but with the increase in air pollution levels, I don’t go for walks now because it is better to stay indoors to avoid respiratory diseases. Let us tell you that Justice Chandrachud will retire on November 10.
