Yash Raj Films-Dharma Production reduces funding in name of rest, actor says ‘He has this ego…’

Actor Vikram Kapadia has played supporting roles in many Bollywood movies and web shows. He has filmed “Scam 1992” and “Kapoor and Sons”. He has worked on projects such as “The Night Manager” and “Yoddha”. Vikram now talks about the challenges that actors have to face in the Bollywood industry.

Vikram spoke specifically about two production houses in Bollywood, Aditya Chopra’s Yash Raj Films and Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. Vikram said both the top studios consider themselves the biggest and pay less than other studios. To do this, both companies found excuses to give their actors big breaks.

Both major production companies are self-aware
Vikram said in an interview to Bollywood, “Yash Raj Ur Dharma has an ego that we are ‘Yash Raj’ and ‘Dharma’, so we will pay you a little less. But you should pay us a little less.” Be happy to donate money. I think they do this to everyone. I think that’s why the actors are worried. Yash Raj used to pay me a lot of money as a writer, but somewhere he must have felt “We are Yash Raj!” They assign you roles and give you breaks. So even if the amount is less, they will not delay the payment.

On Monday, Serum Institute of India CEO Adar Poonawala announced that his company Sirene Productions has acquired 50% stake in Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.

Karan has expressed concern over the situation
Previously, in an interview with Screen, Karan had expressed concern that the increase in actors’ remuneration would bring huge losses to producers. He once said: “Their fees are the least of our concerns.” The actors’ remuneration is the most worthy of attention. It is very important for every actor to know what the current atmosphere is like and what the situation of our movies is like. How difficult it has become to make a film of any type and scale these days.

Let us tell you that the latest release from Karan Johar’s company Dharma Production is Alia Bhatt starrer Jigra. According to reports, the film has raised close to Rs 90 crore. And the film did not even reach Rs 50 crore at the global box office in two weeks.
