A major sex racket has been busted in Taloja, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra. Police arrested two women involved in prostitution here. Apart from this, a Bangladeshi woman has been rescued. The crackdown on sex trafficking took place on Tuesday.
Prithviraj Ghorpade, senior inspector of the Anti-Human Trafficking Cell (AHTC) of Navi Mumbai police, said: “The cell received a tip-off that a person was being investigated in a house in a residential area here. sex trafficking.”
In this case, police sent in a fake customer and raided the premises, where they found the woman identified as Haseena Musharraf Khan (30). They also discovered that Salia Safiq Khan gave money to customers. (39) were asked to pay the money digitally. Both women were later arrested, he said.
