Are Sharad Pawar and Nana Patole defeated by Uddhav Thackeray’s move? Candidates are also fielded in contested seats.

Nata Patole, Uddhav Thackeray and Sharad Pawar.

Maha Vikas Aghadi is in a deadlock over seat allocation for the Maharashtra Assembly elections. Negotiations between the Allies are ongoing. Meanwhile, Uddhav Thackeray-led party Shiv Sena has announced a list of 65 candidates. Uddhav neither spared Nana Patole nor Sharad Pawar.

It has been decided to give 85 seats to Maha Vikas Aghadi parties. So far, consensus has been reached on 255 seats for Mahavikas Aghadi. The decision has been made to give allies some space, but divisions remain on many seats.

It is also reported that the remaining seats will be decided after discussions with colleagues. However, it is becoming increasingly clear that the issue of space allocation for Mahavikas Aghadi has not yet been fully resolved.

The problem remains at 33 seats

Questions arose over the existence of this alliance after the controversial Maha Vikas Aghadi shared the seat. After this meeting, Patole said that the calculation formula for 270 seats has been determined as 85-85-85 and the remaining 18 seats will be given to allies. But if the formula is 85-85-85, then the sum of all of these is only 255. So why did Nana Patole mention 270 seats?

This means that Maha Vikas Aghadi still has a gap of 33 seats. Mahavikas Aghadi will meet again in the next two days. These meetings are expected to take a final decision on seat sharing for Maha Vikas Aghadi.

On the other hand, Congress had earlier insisted on 125 seats and the Thackeray group on 100 seats. But now after discussions and debates, Congress will try to get more than 100 seats. There are rumors that the Thackeray faction will try to reach around 100 seats. Meanwhile, several candidates from Thackeray Group and Sharad Pawar Group have received AB forms and the candidates are in the process of submitting nomination papers.

Earlier, meetings were held from Delhi to Mumbai regarding seat allocation. When differences arose between Sanjay Raut and Nana Patole, Congress brought up Balasaheb Thorat.

Uddhav announced his candidate only after the meeting

After this, Maha Vikas Aghadi held a three-day conference in Mumbai and every day it was claimed that Maha Vikas Aghadi would end seat sharing, but things did not progress. Meanwhile, on the third day on Wednesday, a meeting was held at YB Chavan Center in the presence of Sharad Pawar and it lasted for an hour. Supriya Sule came out and said everything was fine and the three political parties would hold a joint press conference. Later, Jayant Patil of the NCP Sharad faction, Sanjay Raut of the Shiv Sena faction and Nana Patole of the Congress Party came forward.

Candidates for contested seats also announced

Here is the meeting and the PC, on the other side Uddhav released his list and also released his list when the media cameras were live on Maha Vikas Aghadi’s PC which was about to take place. There are a lot of interesting things in this list. For example, many Congress and NCP seats are embroiled in controversies with Uddhav. Uddhav has fielded candidates from Ramtek, Bandra East and Nashik West seats from the Congress quota. The NCP has fielded candidates in the Kurla seats, Parbhani seats, Paranda seats and Beed’s Gevle seat claimed by the Sharad faction. This means that Uddhav has spared neither Sharad Pawar nor the Congress.

Sharad Pawar and Nana Patole had been watching during a live press conference at YB Chavan Center in Nariman Point when Matoshre came with such a list and the leader got up and left. Apart from this, Uddhav also struck a blow against the ally party Shetkarika Mgarh Party. The Sangola seat belongs to the Shetkari Kamgar Party, which has MBA, but Uddhav has fielded his candidate. In response, the Shetkari Kamgar Party announced its candidate on Tuesday.

Third, another interesting thing is that there are tax issues in many important seats that have not yet been resolved. For example: Bhiwandi West, Versova, Colaba, Byculla, Nagpur South and Erandol. These are some of the key seats where candidates have yet to be announced.
