The Delhi government and private schools have issued guidelines for students in classes six to eight. The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has prepared guidelines based on the recommendations of the National Education Policy 2020.
“Under these guidelines, students can visit historical monuments, cultural sites, handicraft centres, tourist destinations and many other places. They can meet artists and craftsmen and learn about various concepts and traditions,” a notification issued by the Education Bureau reads. ” and help them understand the importance of preserving heritage. “
The notice mentioned that student activities are selected to maximize the use of school resources. “Luggage-free days can be incorporated through happiness courses or organized bag-free activities during visits.”
According to a previous notice issued by the Ministry of Education, during the “Bag-Free Day” event, each student will have the opportunity to take interesting courses during classes 6-8.
