News of a sex racket taking place in a house in Madhai Chowk in Uttar Pradesh’s Badong district came to light. Based on a complaint by ‘Bajrang Sena’ unit president Vishal Thakur, police conducted a raid and detained the landlord’s son and a young man. At the same time, a girl present ran away immediately after seeing the police.
According to the complainant Vishal Thakur, the house in Madhai Chowk has been used for sex trafficking for a long time. The landlord also used to call girls from outside and was involved in illegal activities. To ensure that no one had any doubts and that no organization could do anything about it, both doors of the house were engraved with religious symbols.
At around 12pm on Tuesday, we received information that the boy and girl came to the said house again. We immediately informed the police. After receiving the news, the police took immediate action and rushed to the scene to conduct a raid. When the police arrived at the door, the girl inside managed to escape, while the two young men present were captured by the police.
Padang police detained the landlord’s son and another young man and are currently interrogating them. In this matter, SP Nagar area Amit Kishore Srivastava said that the Kotwali police got information from people of the ‘Bajrang Sena’ that prostitution was taking place in a house in the city. The police raided and detained two boys there but no case of prostitution was found and no complaint was made in this regard by either party.
Currently, the two teenagers caught by the Kotwali police have been arrested under Section 151. The investigation is ongoing and further action will be taken based on the facts discovered during the investigation. However, since the matter is located in a densely populated area of the city, it has become a topic of discussion among local people.
