Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi will file nomination from Wayanad seat today.
Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi will file her nomination for the by-election to the Wayanad Lok Sabha seat in Kerala on Wednesday. A large Congress rally will also be held in Wayanad during this period. A show of strength for the party will also come when he secures the nomination. Congress president Sonia Gandhi and Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra have also arrived in Kerala to seek nominations. If elected from Wayanad, Priyanka will become a member of the House of Representatives for the first time. She actively participated in politics ahead of the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. Her husband’s name is Shobhin Shyam and he is a mechanical engineer. Navya Haridas is also a graduate. The BJP also fielded Divya in the 2021 assembly elections, but she suffered a defeat in this election. She contested the elections from Kozhikodnan (Kerala) constituency.
