The movie Drishyam was released in 2015. In this movie, Bollywood actor Ajay Devgan plays the lead role. The film’s story follows a man who commits murder and then devises a perfect plan to save himself and his family. Despite knowing the murders were committed by the same man, police found no evidence to arrest him. A similar horror story happened in Nagpur, Maharashtra.
Just like the movie Drishyam, a murder takes place in Nagpur and the body goes missing. After a series of contacts, the police finally caught the murderer. The story that unfolds thereafter is surprising. Interestingly, the murderer’s name in this story is also Ajie. After killing his girlfriend, he hid the body in a place where the police could not find it despite their best efforts. Currently, the suspect has been arrested.
In fact, this entire incident is a matter in the Bertarodi police station area of Nagpur. Here, Ajay Wankhede, an Army soldier, met Jyotsna Akre at the wedding venue. Jotzner is divorced. His marriage lasted only a year. Thereafter, she divorced her husband. A conversation first started between Ajay and Jyotsna which later turned into love. The two also began to meet. During this time, along with the commitment of marriage, a physical relationship begins to develop.
Two years passed like this. Jyotsna proposed to his lover Ajie many times, but he avoided it every time. Here, his family began to object to the relationship and began to pressure him to marry another girl. Because of this, Ajay began to distance himself from Jyotsna. Don’t talk to him anymore. But she won’t accept defeat. He also tracked him down through his contacts. When Ajie learned about this, he was immediately frightened.
Afterwards, he called Jotzner from his mother’s cell phone. Call him and ask him to meet on August 28 at Wardha Road, Nagpur. She used to work in an auto shop. She made an excuse to her family that she was going to a friend’s house. Will spend the night there. Both of them were staying at a hotel in Wardha Road area. After some time, after leaving the hotel, they arrived at a nearby toll booth, and Ajie gave Jyotsna an intoxicating cold drink.
Jozna fainted. Ajie strangles her to death. Then he took me to a deserted place. He dug a hole there at night. His body was buried and covered with cement. His mobile phone was thrown into a truck passing by Wardha Road. When Chotsner did not return home the next day, her family filed a missing person report with the Bertarodi Police Department on August 29. The police also immediately launched an investigation.
As Chotsna was not found for several days, a kidnapping case was registered on September 17. When the police checked the call details records, they found that she had called Ajay Wankhede regularly. Subsequently, the police summoned Ajie for questioning. But it is said that there is a straw in the thief’s beard. Ajie was frightened when he heard the name of the policeman. He took advantage of his military service and became a patient at the Army Hospital in Pune.
Meanwhile, he applied for anticipatory bail to the Nagpur sessions court, but his application was rejected. Thereafter, he approached the High Court, which dismissed his petition on September 15. Bertarodi police arrested him after anticipatory bail was refused. When the police conducted a rigorous interrogation on him, he confessed to his crime. Later, he also told the police about the crime scene.
