The body of the ex-wife of an electricity department official (executive engineer) was found hanging from a fan in Siddharth Nagar, Uttar Pradesh. The deceased was associated with the modeling industry. Preliminary investigation revealed that he committed suicide by hanging. The officer and the deceased had a love marriage but later divorced. However, they have been living together for the past few months. Meanwhile, this happened.
In fact, there was a stir last night when the body of Sandeep Kumar’s ex-wife Anshi Soni was found in her room. Anshi Soni, who is into modeling, has been living with Sandeep since June after their divorce. It is understood that Anshi also suffered from depression for a time.
As usual, Sandeep Kumar also left yesterday. But when he came back at night, he found the door to the room open. When they looked inside, they were shocked to see that Anshi was hanging from the fan with her dupatta. He then informed police and senior officials. Police rushed to the scene, took custody of the body and sent it for autopsy.
Love marriage, divorce, getting together again
It is understood that the couple are residents of Rae Bareli district. The age difference between the two is about 15 years. Sandeep Kumar was born in 1982 and Anshi Soni was born in 1997. In 2017, Anshi had a love marriage with Sandeep without the consent of his family. The two lived together for several years before divorcing in 2022. After the divorce, Anshi went to Delhi to pursue a career in the modeling industry. Sandeep, on the other hand, works as an executive engineer in various Nagar Panchayats in Siddharth Nagar. Currently, he works as an executive engineer at the Etawah Nagar Panchayat in the district and lives in a rented house in the headquarters Indira Nagar.
According to Sandeep Kumar, yesterday morning (October 21), he reached the office around 9 am and reached the room at 6 pm. The door to the room was open, and when I looked inside, I found An’s body hanging from the fan. Later, with the help of the driver, he took the body out of the fan and placed it on the bed. Relevant departments were also notified. After receiving the information, the police rushed to the spot, stuffed the body and sent it for autopsy.
Executive engineer Sandeep told reporters that he divorced Anshi two years ago. Come here in June for a walk to get rid of your depression. Everything was fine, I don’t know why all of this happened suddenly. He mentioned depression in his suicide note.

Regarding the matter, CO Sadar Arunkant Singh said that information was received that the ex-wife of EO Etwa Sandeep Kumar had committed suicide by hanging. Both lived in a rented house. After receiving the information, the police rushed to the scene and took the body into custody. The Panchnama of the body has been filled and has been sent for autopsy.
Meanwhile, the CE said the deceased wanted to pursue a career in the modeling industry and was living in Delhi. Siddharth Naga came to him since June. But her mental condition was not good and she was depressed. Maybe that’s why he hanged himself. Currently, the police are investigating the matter. Further action will be taken after the autopsy report is available. A forensic team has collected evidence.
