Air India has received more than 100 threats in the past few days. Among these threats, Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannu has now threatened India and threatened to blow up the aircraft.
Pannu has said there may be attacks on Air India flights after 40 years of Sikh riots. Pannu requested international passengers not to fly on Air India between November 1 and 19.

Pannu, the founder of Sikh Justice, continues to make provocative statements every day. India considers Pannu a terrorist for inciting people in the name of Khalistan. He is accused of promoting separatism and inciting Punjabi Sikh youth to take up arms.

In 2020, he was declared a terrorist under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA). Since Sikh Tehreek-i-Sharif shares the same ideology, it is also banned. At the same time, many YouTube channels that create and present SFJ content have also been banned. Pannu is now a fugitive, having taken refuge in the United States and holds Canadian citizenship.
Gurpatwant Singh Pannu admitted responsibility for terror incident in India. In April 2023, he threatened Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a video over his visit to Assam. In June 2023, Pannu went into hiding after the deaths of three other prominent Khalistan leaders within two months. He advocated the creation of an independent religious-based state called Khalistan in Punjab and several neighboring regions of India.
