A woman from Kanpur is missing from her home and her family has lodged a complaint with Railway Bazar police station. During the course of investigation, the police came to know that the woman was in Mumbai and subsequently sent a team of women police and an inspector to Mumbai. When the woman was brought back to Kanpur, the inspectors abused her. When the woman police officer complained to the DCP about the matter, the inspector got on the phone.
A woman living in the Railway Chowk police station area of Kanpur went missing from her home a few days ago. His family has reported the case to the police. The police are investigating the matter and during the investigation it was found that the woman was married and living in Mumbai. Later, the Rail Bazaar police station inspector and woman police officer set out to bring the woman back from Mumbai. The woman was also found in Mumbai. Thereafter, a police team drove him to Kanpur. The inspector sat next to the woman several times while taking her seat on the way. During this period, he touched her bed many times. During this time, the woman was detained by police. She was under police guard so out of fear and shame she said nothing but complained about this to the female officer.

Inspector Gajendra’s behavior was also witnessed by the female police officers. On arrival in Kanpur, the woman was produced before the court and handed over to her family members. Thereafter, the female police officer complained about the matter to DCP SK Singh. When he went to investigate, he found out that it was true. The woman also admitted that the inspector subjected her to some indecent touching on the bed. Immediately thereafter, the DCP called Inspector Gajendra Chahar.

Woman’s family refuses to take action
However, the woman’s family refused to take any further action over concerns for their reputation. The inspector may not be worried about his uniform and duties. DCP SK Singh said although the woman did not complain about the matter, when it came to my attention, I could not tolerate the behavior of the inspector and after investigating, I called him. This type of behavior by police will not be tolerated.
