Zeeshan Siddiqui, son of NCP leader Baba Siddiqui who was killed in Mumbai, said after killing his father, the killers have now targeted him but they cannot be intimidated. Zeshan said that he silenced my father, but he forgot that he was a lion, and I kept his roar in my heart. Their fight is in my veins. He stood up for justice, fought for change, and weathered storms with unwavering courage.
“Now I stand in his shoes: for this, I am always with you,” he wrote.
Baba Siddiqui was murdered on October 12
On the evening of October 12, former Maharashtra Minister Baba Siddiqui was shot dead by three people near Zeshan Siddiqui’s office in Bandra area of Mumbai. Police have arrested 10 people so far and are searching for the main gunman and two suspected accomplices. Police said the motive behind the murder was yet to be established and was being investigated from different angles, including alleged links with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
