Los Angeles [US]October 17, 2024: Netflix releases trailer power countryis a science fiction adventure film directed by the Russo brothers and starring Millie Bobby Brown and Chris Pratt. Set in an alternate America in the mid-1990s, the film follows Brown’s Michelle as she embarks on a journey across the country to find her missing brother amid a civil war between humans and the robots that once served them.
Brown’s character meets Keats, a smuggler played by Platt, who becomes her unexpected ally. “This is a story of survival and discovery in a world where man’s creation turns against them,” Variety reports.
power country The ensemble cast includes Stanley Tucci as Ethan Skate, Giancarlo Esposito as Colonel Marshall Bradbury, Woody Woody Norman plays Michelle’s missing brother, and Ke Huy Quan plays Dr. Amherst. Anthony Mackie, Billy Bob Thornton, Woody Harrelson, Jenny Slate, Jason Alexander, Alan Tudyk and Brian Cox also lend their voices to the film.
The film is directed by Anthony Russo and Joe Russo, based on the graphic novel by Simon Stallenhag, and written by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. The film, a thrilling, visually stunning adventure, is set to be released on Netflix on March 14, 2025.
