Assam train accident.
The train derailed near Dibalon station in Assam. Eight coaches of Lokmanya Tilak Express derailed. The railway company said there was no information on casualties as a result of the incident. The accident occurred on the Rumuddin-Badarpur hill section of Rumuddin district. The train left Agartala for Mumbai on Thursday morning. CM Himanta Biswa Sarma also gave information about the incident.
The CPRO of the Northeast Frontier Railway Zone said the Lokmanya Tilak Express derailed at Diblong station in Assam at around 3.55 pm. Eight carriages including the train’s power car and engine derailed. However, there is no news of any casualties or serious injuries yet.

Railway personnel have arrived at the scene
He said that after receiving the information, railway officials rushed to the spot. The Accident Rescue Train and the Accident Rescue Medical Train have arrived at the scene from Lundin, carrying senior officers of the division to oversee rescue and recovery operations. CM Himanta Biswa Sarma provided information about the accident through a post.
CM Himanta said that eight coaches of train number 12520 (Agartala-LTT Express) derailed at Diblong station near Lumding at 3.55 pm on Thursday. There are no casualties yet.
