PSTET 2024: Application for Punjab Teacher Eligibility Test has started, please refer to the exam dates, questions will be asked from these subjects

PSEB PSTET 2024 Registration: The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has started the online registration process for the Punjab State Teachers Eligibility Test (PSTET) 2024. This is a great opportunity for candidates who dream of becoming a Government School Teacher in Punjab. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online at the official website pstet.pseb.ac.in.

The Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET 2024) is designed to assess the qualifications of candidates for the posts of teachers in classes 1 to 5 and 6 to 8 in schools in the state of Punjab. The exam will be held on December 1, 2024. The deadline to register online is November 4, 2024. The revision window will be open from November 5 to November 8, 2024, and the Punjab TET 2024 is scheduled to be held on December 1, 2024.

Who can apply?
There is no age limit to apply for the Punjab TET exam as long as the candidates have the required qualifications. For PSTET Paper 1, candidates must have passed Class 12 with at least 45% marks and must have passed or appeared in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Basic Education. How to apply?
Step 1: Visit the official website i.e. pstet.pseb.ac.in.
Step 2: On the home page, click on the “Register for PSTET Online” link.
Step 3: A new page will appear on the screen.
Step 4: Register and fill out the application form.
Step 5: Pay the required fees and click Submit.
Step 6: Print your application form for future reference.

Application fee
General/OBC/BC category candidates have to pay Rs 1000 for one paper and Rs 2000 for two papers. SC/ST/PWD candidates have to pay a fee of Rs.500 for one paper and Rs.1000 for two papers. While ex-servicemen (who own Punjab) do not have to pay any fee.

PSTET Syllabus 2024
The Punjab TET syllabus includes subjects such as Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I (Punjabi), Language II (English), Mathematics, Environmental Studies and Social Studies. Candidates preparing for the exam should have a good understanding of the subjects included in the PSTET syllabus. It is divided into two stages – Paper 1 and Paper 2.
