The daughter of former Uttar Pradesh Ghaziabad MP and former Union minister General VK Singh has filed a case against a steel businessman at Kavi Nagar police station. VK Singh’s daughter Yogja Singh has accused businessman Anand Prakash of cheating her of Rs 3.38 crore in the name of selling her house. Based on the complaint received, the police have registered a case against the businessman under Sections 420 and 406 of IPC 1860 and have started investigation into the case. However, Anand Prakash refused to sell the house and said Yoja was a tenant.

“House transaction finalized on June 14, 2014”

According to the information registered in the FIR, Yogja Singh had entered into an agreement with Anand Prakash to purchase a house in Rajnagar area of ​​Ghaziabad A house. The deal for the house was verbally finalized on June 14, 2014 for Rs 5 crore, out of which he also paid Rs 10 lakh as deposit to Anand Prakash and decided to pay the remaining amount gradually. happened.

“Pay tax of Rs 30 million one by one”

The renovation work of the house was done by Anand Prakash and a post-dated check of Rs 4,45,000 was issued by Yogja Singh for the same. Thereafter, he acquired the ownership of the house and now only Yoja Singh lives here. A written agreement was also signed with Anand Prakash on February 13, 2017, to obtain a loan to purchase his house. Subsequently, on February 14, 2017, Rs 33,50,000 was transferred into Anand’s account.

According to Yogja, he provided Rs 1 crore each to Anand Prakash on three separate occasions and the remaining Rs 2 crore was provided through loans. But when his Rs 2-crore loan was approved by the bank and the other party was asked to register the house, Prakash backed out.

Didn’t register the house after taking the money

It is alleged that even after taking away Rs 3 crore 48 lakh, the accused Anand Prakash did not register the house in his name and hence he was cheated and his money was misappropriated. An application has been filed in the Ghaziabad Additional District Officer’s Court against the accused with a view to evict them from the premises by making false rent receipts.

The defendant said – he did not sell the house, he just rented it out

In this case, businessman Anand Prakash said that he had rented his house to General VK Singh for Rs 25,000 per month but no agreement was reached. Sale Agreement. He was given rent for one year and after one year he was not given rent for the house. Later, he received 10 million rupees through a money order, but not to buy a house but to pay unpaid rent. Their dispute is currently in court and they are fine with whatever the court decides on the matter.

In this regard, ACP Kavinagar Abhishek Srivastava said that based on the complaint of Yogja Singh, the police has registered a case and the matter is currently being investigated.
