Naxalite woman arrested from Telangana with Rs 1 crore reward, involved in many major incidents

Telangana police arrested a female Naxalite and offered a reward of Rs 1 crore. The accused woman was identified as Sujata, who was involved in several major Naxalite incidents in Sukma, Chhattisgarh.

According to police, the woman was arrested when she went to Mahabub Nagar in Hyderabad, Telangana for medical treatment. Police hope that after interrogating the accused woman, they will be able to get vital information about the Naxalites.

According to sources, Sujata is the widow of Naxalite leader Koteshwar Rao, alias Kishanji. She came to Bastar from Bangladesh in 2011 after Kishanji was killed by police. Thereafter, she became active here and held many positions, including in charge of the Bastar Divisional Committee.
