In the trailer, Kajol essays the role of a strong cop, while Kriti Sanon plays the dual role of twins Saumya and Shailee. The plot revolves around a mysterious love triangle involving Dhruv, played by Shaheer Sheikh, while Kajol’s character leads the investigation into a fatal accident. The film delves into suspense and crime as the twins’ animosity intensifies.
Sharing her enthusiasm for the project, Kriti called it very special not just because it was her first venture as a producer but also because of the challenging dual role she was playing. She emphasized that the film’s poignant message made it the perfect choice for her debut feature.
Directed by Shashanka Chaturvedi and produced by Kanika Dhillon and Kriti Sanon, Dupati It is scheduled to be released on Netflix on October 25.
