Earlier, Munna Shukla was given a grand welcome by his supporters and staff as he left his official residence for the court.

Munna Shukla, who was convicted in the Brij Bihari Prasad murder case, came to the court in a long queue of vehicles to surrender. Many times, he was seen wiping tears and appearing emotional. Shukla was interviewed by the media. He said he had become a victim of politics. Respect court orders. The state vice-president of the RJD women’s wing attacked Chief Minister Nitish Kumar over the entire incident.

He said these tears in eyes were very bad for CM Nitish Kumar. The people of Lalganj will avenge the tears in the eyes of Nitish Kumar’s Munna Shukla in the upcoming assembly elections. On June 13, 1998, former Bihar government minister Brigitte Bihari Prasad was murdered at IGIMS.

In this murder case, on October 3, the Supreme Court sentenced six defendants including Munna Shukla to life imprisonment. Apart from the former attorney general, Mantu Tiwari of East Champaran was also sentenced to life imprisonment. The court asked them to surrender within 15 days.
