Alkasa Air flight now under threat, Bangalore-bound plane diverted to Delhi

Akasa Air flight from Delhi to Bengaluru received threats. Sources said the flight was being taken back to the capital Delhi after being threatened. Earlier on Tuesday, an Air India Express plane received a bomb threat. Subsequently, Singapore sent two F-15SG fighter jets to take it away from densely populated areas, and the plane landed safely at Changi Airport. Flight IX 684 operated by Air India Express from Madurai to Singapore received a shocking email warning of a bomb on board.

So far, 8 flights have been threatened

Delhi-Chicago Air India flight, Jaipur-Bangalore Air India Express flight, Daman-Lucknow Indigo flight, Darbhanga-Mumbai SpiceJet flight, Siliguri-Bangalore Akasa Air flight, Alliance Air Amritsar-Dehradun-Delhi flight and an Air India Express flight from Madurai Singapore was among the seven flights that received bomb threats. Now, this number has been increased to eight after Alkasa Air’s flights from Delhi to Bengaluru were threatened. This means a total of eight flights have been threatened in the past two days.

Likewise, on Monday, three international flights from Mumbai were targeted amid rumors of bombs on flights. All were declared hoaxes on Monday after security services, intelligence agencies, airlines and airport operators conducted counter-terrorism security drills.
