BJP-JDU controversy over Giriraj Singh’s Hindu Swabhiman Yatra, Neeraj Kumar says – Constitution must also be followed

Bihar will hold assembly elections next year and after Vijayadashami, the period of political tour in the state begins. A fight has begun over the Hindu Swabhiman pilgrimage of Union minister and BJP fire brand leader Giriraj Singh. The NDA’s ally JDU showed a harsh attitude in protesting against the pilgrimage. JDU leader Neeraj Kumar reminded Giriraj of the oaths in the constitution citing caste and religion. Neeraj said the country has a constitution that says our work will transcend religion and caste.

In fact, Giriraj Singh’s Hindu Swabhiman Yatra will be held in Bihar from October 18 to 22. The Muslim-dominated Seemanchal area will be in focus. It will depart from Bhagalpur and stop at Kishanganj, the first leg of the journey. Giriraj will reach Bhagalpur on October 18, Katihar on October 19, Purniya on October 20, Araria on October 21 and Kishangan on October 22 Jay. Except Bhagalpur, the rest of the districts belong to Seemanchal and have a large Muslim population.

“This country also has a constitution…”

The JDU was disturbed by this visit of Giriraj. MLC Neeraj Kumar said Nitish Kumar is a global leader and climate thinker. As he developed strategies to communicate directly with the public, his following grew. Talking about Swabhiman Yatra (Hinduism), the country has a constitution which swears that we will work above caste and religion. By taking the oath, the work in parliamentary life is done. Holding a Hindu Swabhiman in one hand and a constitutional oath document in the other. It sounds good and people will enjoy seeing it.

‘Nitish writes development story in Seemanchal’

Neeraj Kumar further said that Nitish Kumar has enhanced the self-esteem of Hindu temples. There is a Budhanath temple in Bhagalpur. One should see how Nitish Kumarji built the park there. How did the Manokamna temple develop? How to provide facilities to Kanwar pilgrims from Sultanganj to Deoghar. In memory of the country’s former Prime Minister Atalji, the College of Agriculture was opened in the name of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. The Sanatani also studied there. There are no problems. We keep cemeteries and crematoriums busy. Let the temples be lively and the mosques be lively. We have written the story of the wonderful development of Seemanchal district. Social harmony is our capital, and we will maintain this capital.

“Don’t divert public attention”

Earlier, JDU leader Vijay Chaudhry also issued a statement on Giriraj’s visit. Chaudhry said, talk about the development of Bihar and the country. People just want to hear about development. Don’t divert public attention. And there are no doubts or questions. The media and we should at least talk about developments.

“Tejashwi came from abroad after receiving a call from ED”

Meanwhile, Opposition Leader Tejashwi Yadav will also travel to Bihar from Wednesday. He will start the second phase of his journey from Banka. Reacting to this, JDU leader Neeraj Kumar said that Tejashwi Yadav came to the country from abroad on the call of ED. Now those workers are on their way to darshan. It seems that he is a political landlord. If there is no meeting with the workers, then the workers go for darshan. Nitish Kumar ji used to work in Banka.

JDU to contest elections in Jharkhand along with BJP

The JDU held an important meeting ahead of the announcement of the Jharkhand Assembly elections. Party president Nitish Kumar discussed election preparations and strategies with Jharkhand in-charge, cabinet minister Ashok Chaudhry, working president Sanjay Jha and other prominent leaders. After the meeting, Ashok Chaudhry said that the JDU hopes to participate in the Jharkhand elections together with the BJP, but there is no consensus on seats yet. Negotiations are ongoing. Hopefully a consensus will be reached soon.
