October 13, 2024: Security is stepped up outside Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s Bandra residence Galaxy Apartments following the brutal killing of former Maharashtra minister and NCP leader Baba Siddique measure.
Siddique was shot dead near Nirmal Nagar in Bandra and succumbed to his injuries at Lilavati Hospital on Saturday night.
Salman Khan, an acquaintance of Siddiq, came to the hospital to express his condolences to the grieving family.
In April, two men opened fire outside Khan’s home, raising concerns about the actor’s safety. The attacker in the previous case was arrested in Gujarat.
Mumbai police have registered a case under various sections of the Indian Act, the Arms Act and the Maharashtra Police Act regarding Siddique’s killing. Two suspects, Gurmail Singh from Haryana and Dharamraj Kashyap from Uttar Pradesh, have been arrested and investigations revealed that they plan.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde announced that Baba Siddique will be cremated with state honors in recognition of his service as minister and MHADA between 2004 and 2008 Contributions made during his term as Chairman. Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar also said that multiple teams have been sent to investigate the murder and more details are expected to be released within days.
