Mumbai Police has contacted Haryana and Uttar Pradesh police in connection with the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddiqui in Mumbai. Details are being sought about the two arrested gunmen. Investigation revealed that one of the gunmen, Gurmail Baljeet Singh, was a resident of Haryana’s Kaital district. The Haryana Police Special Task Force (STF) is gathering information about the background of Gurmail Baljeet Singh. A team of the STF has gone to his house in Kaithal to investigate.
On the other hand, Uttar Pradesh police are gathering information about the second gunman, Dharamraj Kashyap. Dharamraj Kashyap’s criminal record and background are under investigation. The incident has alerted police and security agencies in places like Mumbai, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.
In the current investigation, police suspect that the gunmen may be connected to a large criminal network. Even after the two gunmen were arrested, the search continues for a third absconding suspect to uncover the real conspiracy behind the murders.
Police are looking for a third suspect
Police have arrested two gunmen in the murder of former Mumbai minister and NCP leader Baba Siddiqui, but the mastermind is still on the run. Police believe the third suspect is the same man who won the contract to murder Baba Siddiqui. However, so far, it is unclear who is behind the murder and why. Police still don’t have any concrete answers as to who signed the contract to murder Baba Siddiqui and why.

Baba Siddiqui also revealed that he did not receive any form of threat before his murder. This information was contrary to claims that he had been threatened. Beyond that, he was not given any special category of security. However, since he is a former minister and his son is an MLA, the Mumbai police assigned two constables for him. Police are currently trying to find out whether the murder was part of a larger criminal conspiracy or if there were other personal reasons.
