The Firozpur Jhirka seat has been much discussed. Congress has designated Maman Khan as its candidate for the seat. The PPP, on the other hand, gave its ticket to Naseem Ahmed. In this seat, Maman Khan got more than 100,000 30,000 votes while the BJP candidate got only 32,000 votes. This means Congress won the seat unilaterally. Congress won the seat by over 98,000 votes.
