Non-bailable arrest warrant issued against Sultanpur Samajwadi Party MP, know what happened

A non-bailable arrest warrant has been issued against the Samajwadi Party MP from Sultanpur in Uttar Pradesh. A non-bailable arrest warrant was issued against Congress MP Rambhual Nishad on Saturday. The allegation against the MP was that he blocked a national highway in 2015. Special Judge MP/MLA Gyanendra Kumar has issued this notification. Besides, a notice has also been issued against the SHO of Barhalganj.

In 2015, a case was filed against the MP. In fact, the body of the deceased is being transported for cremation under police supervision. Then hundreds of people, led by Congress MP Rambhual Nishad, came to the national highway and blocked the highway. Protesters placed the body in the middle of a Patna intersection and blocked the highway. Traffic was disrupted as a result of this behavior by protesters.

Clash with police

Clashes broke out between police and protesters as police tried to clear the blockage. However, Nishad was notified to appear in the case but he failed to appear and a non-bailable arrest warrant was subsequently issued against him.

Who is Rambuvar Nishad?

Rambhual Nishad’s association with politics is old. Furthermore, in 2014, he contested against Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath but fell far short of winning, finishing third. Before becoming an MP, he was twice elected as an MLA from the Caudiram assembly seat. In addition, he served as the Secretary of State for Fisheries of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas in 2007. Rambhual Nishad is related to agriculture. Moreover, at the time of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, he was found to have assets worth Rs 3 crore. In 2024, Rambwal Nishad achieved a huge victory by defeating Maneka Gandhi.
