In her recent appearance in Jimmy Kimmel Live!During the show, Lady Gaga shared the touching story of her engagement to Michael Polanski.
She revealed that Polanski proposed to her shortly after her birthday, surprising her during a rock climbing trip they had planned together.
Gaga humorously recounted her anticipation that Polanski would propose on her birthday, but saved the surprise for later. While climbing, Polanski sweetly asked her permission to propose before actually proposing, to which Gaga enthusiastically responded, “Yeah, no problem!”
Instead of proposing on a mountaintop, Polanski kept the ring safely in her backpack. Although he didn’t get down on one knee, Gaga expressed delight at how the proposal went, calling it “very Michael.”
As for wedding plans, Gaga joked about having a simple courthouse ceremony and ordering Chinese food, but hinted that her personality could lead to something more extravagant, even hinting that it could turn into a “unicorn circus.”
The couple have been together since 2020, making their first public appearance at the Super Bowl in Miami.
