Redmi Watch 5 Lite was launched in India on Wednesday. The smartwatch features a 1.96-inch AMOLED screen, multiple fitness trackers, and is said to offer up to 18 days of battery life. It runs on Xiaomi’s HyperOS and has Amazon Alexa control built-in. The watch supports Bluetooth calling and GPS connectivity. It has over 150 preset sports modes and is 5 ATM waterproof. The smart wearable will be available in China soon and will be available in two colors. It is worth noting that Redmi Watch 5 Active was launched in India in August this year.

Redmi Watch 5 Lite is priced in India at Rs. Priced at 3,999, it will be available for purchase from 12 noon (IST) on September 26 via Amazon and Xiaomi India website. The watch is available in black and light gold. The official preview teased three additional strap options, including candy pink, lemon yellow and mint green shades.

Redmi Watch 5 Lite features a 1.96-inch AMOLED rectangular display with a resolution of 401 x 502 pixels and a peak brightness of up to 600 nits. It supports always-on display and handheld touch sleep functionality. There is a function button on the right edge of the watch.
It runs on Xiaomi’s HyperOS out of the box and is compatible with Android and iOS phones. Redmi Watch 5 Lite supports Hindi, more than 200 cloud watch faces, and more than 150 preset sports modes. It comes with a heart rate sensor and blood oxygen level tracker.
Xiaomi has equipped the Redmi Watch 5 Lite with built-in GPS connectivity, Amazon Alexa control, and Bluetooth calling support. This smart wearable device supports Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity and emergency SOS calling. It comes with two ENC-enabled microphones and a speaker. The watch has a 5 ATM water resistance rating and is compatible with the Xiaomi Wear app.
Redmi Watch 5 Lite comes with a 470mAh battery and a magnetic charging port. Battery life is claimed to last up to 18 days under typical usage. If used frequently, the total usage time may be reduced to 12 days. The body size of the watch is 49.1 x 40.4 x 11.4 mm and the weight is 29.2 grams.
