‘Hezbollah cannot be brought to its knees…’ Iran’s supreme leader blames U.S. amid devastation in Lebanon

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has warned that the killing of a Lebanese Hezbollah commander will not have any serious impact on the group’s strength. Khamenei’s statement came as Israel launched air strikes that targeted several senior members of Hezbollah. Even the commander of its missile wing was killed here, and missile attacks continued.

Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said, “Hezbollah’s strength and human resources are quite strong, and even the assassination of a senior commander will not have a serious impact on the organization, although it is obviously a loss.” Israeli Army Continuously target Hezbollah positions in Lebanon and destroy their weapons.

1,500 Hezbollah fighters driven from battlefield

According to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, clashes in the past two days have resulted in the deaths of approximately 570 people in Lebanon. This is the first time in nearly two decades that Israeli forces have attacked Hezbollah targets in Lebanon on such a large scale. Recently, pagers and walkie-talkies exploded in Lebanon and about 1,500 phones were taken away from the station. The group said they were injured in the blast.

Khamenei: Palestinians and Lebanese will win

Khamenei insisted that “the Palestinian and Lebanese resistance movements will achieve final victory” and accused Israel of massacring civilians because of its inability to defeat its opponents. Iran has been an ally of Hezbollah, which was founded as a Lebanese armed group in 1982, since the 1979 Islamic Revolution.

Ali Khamenei accuses U.S.

The Supreme Leader says the United States is behind growing violence in Lebanon. However, the United States said it had no prior knowledge of Israel’s plans. “The United States knew and intervened,” Khamenei claimed, adding that the Biden administration “needs a victory for the Zionist regime before the November presidential election.”
