Maharashtra will hold assembly elections in a few months. Previously, the “India Today Conclave” was being held in Mumbai. The Shinde government recently announced the ‘Ladki Behan Yojana’ under which women will get a monthly subsidy of Rs 1,500. On a question related to the scheme, Aditya Thackeray said that the Rs 15 lakh that was talked about 10 years ago has now come down to Rs 1,500 and will be reduced to Rs 15 tomorrow. He said that apart from “laadli bahana” we also need “safe bahana”.
Accusing the Sindh Group of betrayal, he said, if those who have been with us for 202-25 years can betray us, then how can we trust them. What happens to the public that is not ours?

Aditya Thackeray did not directly answer the question. However, he made it clear that Uddhav Thackeray’s tenure in Maharashtra was the best in all aspects.
