India Today Conclave 2024 kicked off on Wednesday at Taj Lands End (Hotel), Mumbai. Rising Bollywood star Trupti Dimri was the special guest here. The actress has spoken openly about her career and success. Controversy over animal movies has been cited as a reason to stay away from movie parties.

How does it feel to be an “It Girl”?

Even before the release of the film Animal, fans have seen Trupti in projects like Laila Majnu, Kala, Bulbul and more. But “Animal Movie” changed the direction of his career. After the film’s release, Trupti became famous overnight. People labeled him a “national smash”. When she was asked what it felt like to be an It Girl, Trupti said – I’m not ready yet. It’s like a surprise. I need time to understand this. I’m grateful for everything that happened. Be grateful to those who give love.

No job requests over the phone
The actress said she is not among those who call and ask for work. Trupti said – I would be ashamed to do this. I’m very lucky with the people I work with. People like the work, so they come to me. Acting is part of my life. But this is not my life. I also have a personal life, a family. I don’t want to do anything out of desperation, I just move forward with characters that I connect with.

Why did you decide to do “Animals”?
Trupti says – I never wanted to feel comfortable with acting. Bulbul, art is my genre and I’m used to doing it. When Animals arrived, it was new and challenging. Craft requires experimentation. If there is a challenging role, I will choose that role. When Mr. Sandeep Reddy Vanga told me about the character of Zoya, I became very excited. Playing different challenging roles is the growth of an actor.

Of the Animals spoof, Trupti said: “The character I’m playing is not me.” Everyone has a different side. We can represent these different aspects through characters. Actors go through a lot of emotions in their lives. I never judge any character.

Why distance yourself from movie parties and newspapers?
That’s all I have. I’m a private person. Many times she doesn’t even reply to her team. When I’m in the mountains, I switch phones. You should give yourself time to figure yourself out. Be able to reflect on yourself, be able to reflect on yourself.

On the work front, Trupti also has a number of films in the pipeline. These include Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, Dhadak 2 and the upcoming Vicky Vidya video. He was last seen in the movie Bad News.
