Srinagar, September 25: The Jammu and Kashmir government on Wednesday ordered the transfer of IPS, SSP (Headquarters) CID Shobhit Saxena and appointed him as Senior Inspector General of Police, Kathhua Deputy Deepika.
The transfer and release has been ordered in the interest of administration and with the approval of the Election Commission of India (ECI).
“In the interest of administration and subject to the approval of the Election Commission of India, Shri Shobhit Saxena, IPS, SSP (Hqrs) CID is hereby transferred and appointed as Senior Superintendent of Police, Kathua Deputy Superintendent of Police Deepika, IPS, who will be awaiting further comment at the Police Headquarters appointment,” reads an order, a copy of which is located in Greater Kashmir.
