The UP government will provide funds for organizing events at temples. The Samajwadi Party and the Congress also reacted. The SP said it was good but the government should not hinder the plans of other religions. And Congress calls these plans politics.
Shardiya Navratri begins on October 3 and continues till October 12. During this period, recitations of Durga Saptashati, Akhand Ramayan and bhajan kirtan will be organized in temples across the state. The cultural department of the UP government will sponsor events at the temple. The responsibility of running the scheme has been given to the magistrates in all districts. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also issued instructions in this regard.
Don’t disrupt the plans of other religions: SP
Politics is also starting to take notice. Samajwadi Party spokesperson Sunil Sajjan said there was no objection to this. It is good to have Durga Path, but the government should not hinder the plans of other religions. This country is a country based on unity. The government has the responsibility to lead everyone.

Congress calls these plans politics. Congress spokesperson Surendra Rajput said this is politics. All religions should have a rule. The cultural sector should serve all religions. Doing this for a religion does not send the right message.
What did Maulana say on government orders?
Maulana Shahabuddin Rizvi of Bareilly said that the plan will be organized and we have no objection to it. There should be as many programs as possible. No Muslim has any objection to this. But at the same time, when any Muslim festival comes like Muharram, Eid, Shabe Baraat, Ramzan, the Sanskrit Department of Uttar Pradesh government should also issue orders in the same manner.
