2024-09-25 13:36:01 : Nothing, the British brand led by OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei, appears to be gearing up for the much-anticipated Phone 3 launch next year. While we await official confirmation, the unannounced phone was teased in a Nothing Ear Open launch video, suggesting its existence and confirming the moniker. Nothing Phone 3 is likely to be powered by Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC. Phone 3 will debut as the successor of Nothing Phone 2, which was launched in India in July 2022.

Nothing new video shows the existence of Phone 3

Nothing released a new video on its official YouTube channel on Tuesday, introducing its latest Ear Open headphones and showing off the Nothing OS 3.0 update for the first time. The 15-minute video gives us a sneak peek at the yet-to-be-released Nothing Phone 3 at 6 minutes and 54 seconds.

The moniker is confirmed by the text “Finish setting up your phone (3)” at the top of the Settings page, presumably for the unreleased phone.

The Nothing Phone 3 has a punch-hole cutout in the center of its display. It has thin, symmetrical bezels around its screen. The volume buttons are on the left edge and the power button is on the right. This upcoming phone will be an upgrade over the Phone 2. The latter will be launched in July 2022 with prices starting at Rs. 44,999 for the base 8GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration.

Nothing Phone 2 was powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, so Phone 3 is expected to run on Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC. It is likely to use Nothing’s signature transparent back design and Glyph LED interface.
