2024-09-25 12:21:24 : Vivo V40e was launched in India on Wednesday. The phone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC, equipped with a 5,500mAh battery and supports 80W wired flash charging. It comes with 50-megapixel dual rear cameras and a 50-megapixel selfie camera with support for 4K video recording. The smartphone comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor and comes in two colors and two storage options. It was launched alongside the Vivo V40 and V40 Pro phones that were launched in the country in August.

Vivo V40e price in India starts at Rs. The 8GB + 128GB option is priced at Rs 28,999, while the 8GB + 256GB variant is priced at Rs. 30,999. It is available in Mint Green and Royal Bronze colours.
The phone will be available in India from October 2 via Flipkart, Vivo India e-store and mainline stores. Customers can pre-order the phone through Flipkart and the official website. Online buyers can enjoy up to 6 months of no-cost EMI benefits or a 10% fixed exchange bonus. HDFC and SBI card holders can also enjoy 10% instant discount.

Vivo V40e features a 6.77-inch Full HD+ (1,080 x 2,392 pixels) 3D curved AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and SGS low blue light certification. It also has a wet touch feature, allowing the screen to be used with wet hands.
Vivo V40e is powered by a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset paired with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB UFS 2.2 onboard storage. The phone runs on FuntouchOS 14 based on Android 14.
In terms of optics, the Vivo V40e comes with a dual rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) support, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and an Aura Light unit. The front camera features a 50-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calling. Both the front and rear cameras support 4K video recording. The phone comes with AI eraser and AI photo enhancer features.
