A fast-track court in Uttar Pradesh’s Bulandshahr sentenced the accused for raping his mother to life imprisonment and fined him Rs 50,000. Special Judge Varun Nigam of the fast-track court on Tuesday found the accused guilty of rape under Operation Conviction and sentenced him to life imprisonment and fined him Rs 50,000.
Information revealed that the brother of the accused had filed a complaint in Bulandshahr Kotwali Dehat in 2023, accusing his brother Abid of raping his mother in the forest. Varun Nigam’s fast-track court on Tuesday handed down its verdict under Operation Conviction for the 2023 incident, where the court sentenced the accused Abid to life imprisonment. A fine of Rs 50,000 was also imposed.

Two men sentenced to life imprisonment for gang-raping minors
Let us tell you that last week, the court sentenced two accused for kidnapping and gang-raping a minor girl in Muzaffarnagar. In addition, a fine of Rs 50-50,000 will be imposed, which will be distributed to the victim.
Special Additional Sessions Judge, POCSO Act No. 1 Presiding Officer Manjula Bhalotia delivered the ruling. In fact, in 2011, a class 10 female student was kidnapped and gang-raped in Pulkaji area of Muzaffarnagar district.
