On the evening of September 23, criminal Anuj Pratap, who had a reward of Rs 1 lakh, was killed in an encounter with the STF near Koluhagada in Unnao district.
It is learned that the body of Anuj Pratap Singh was brought to his hometown Janapur in Amethi district on Monday evening. On Tuesday, he performed his last rites in the presence of many people. Father Dharamraj Singh cremated Anuj’s body.
These defendants are still absconding
It is understood that on August 28, a robbery took place at the house of a gold and silver merchant in Thatheri market in Kotwali Nagar area of Sultanpur police station. Two of the five main accused who entered and robbed the store have been encountered. Meanwhile, the three gangsters remained far away from the police. The absconding accused include Ankit Yadav, Furkan and Arbaaz. Mangesh Yadav and Anuj Pratap Singh were killed.
