2024-09-24 14:19:35 : Tecno Pop 9 5G was launched in India on Tuesday. The new budget smartphone from the Transsion-owned company comes with a 48-megapixel rear camera and also supports NFC. The phone is powered by the octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset. According to the company, it’s currently available for pre-order and will go on sale in early October. The phone is the successor to the Tecno Pop 8 that was launched in the country earlier this year.

Tecno Pop 9 5G price in India starts at Rs. The 4GB + 64GB option is priced at Rs 9,499, while the 128GB storage variant is priced at Rs 9,499. 9,999. The phone is currently available for pre-order through Amazon and will first go on sale on October 7.

In terms of optics, the Tecno Pop 9 5G features a 48-megapixel Sony IMX582 rear camera sensor coupled with LED flash. It comes with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The phone comes with dual speakers and Dolby Atmos.
Tecno Pop 9 5G is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and supports 18W wired charging. The phone comes with an infrared (IR) blaster and IP54 dust and splash resistance rating. It is said to be the first 5G phone in the field to support NFC. The phone measures 165 x 77 x 8 mm and weighs 189 grams.
