On September 12, a gym operator named Nadir Shah was shot dead in South Delhi’s posh area of Greater Kailash. The case is being investigated by the Delhi Police Special Cell. After preliminary investigation, police claimed that notorious gangster Hashim Baba ordered his followers from Tihar Jail to attack Nadir Shah. Hashim Baba was interrogated by the Delhi Police’s special team in the murder case and was detained from Tihar Jail.
Hashim told the special team during interrogation that he had spoken on the phone from Tihar to gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who was lodged in Sabarmati Jail in Ahmedabad. He spoke to Lawrence Bishnoi several times in two months. Hashim Baba also continued to issue instructions to the gunmen who carried out the Nadir Shah massacre over the phone from Tihar Jail. Not only that, he also keeps in touch with his family via mobile phone.

Hashim Baba revealed many truths during interrogation
Police questioned Hashim Baba about the mobile phone he used to talk to his follower Lawrence Bishnoi and his family. Hashim said he broke his phone and threw it in the prison toilet. The Delhi Police Special Cell has also issued notices to Anup Juneja and Kunal Chhabra in Dubai. Investigation revealed that Nadir Shah was murdered by Lawrence Bishnoi and Hashim Baba.
Madhur and Raju, the main gunmen who carried out the massacre, are still absconding. The Delhi Police Special Cell has started searching for another figure named Bobby alias Kabootar, who is a major follower of Hashim. According to police, it was Bobby who provided vehicles, weapons and other help to Madhur and Raju. Regarding Kunal Chhabra, the Delhi Police issued a special notification that he was wanted in many cases and was absconding. The task force has begun investigating the case related to Chhabra based on information provided by the FBI.
The whole incident is related to an illegal call center
The Delhi Police Special Cell said the network operated an illegal call center at Rajouri Garden and was involved in a large-scale cyber fraud against US citizens on the pretext of providing technical support to a financial services company. These individuals have in the past falsely claimed to provide personal banking, business banking, investment and wealth management related services. Police busted the call center in February. During the investigation, the name of Kunal Chhabra was recorded as the owner of the illegal call centre. Soon after the Delhi crackdown, Kunal Chhabra fled to Dubai.

The Delhi Police Special Cell also received information about his movements between Indonesia and Portugal. According to the task force, Kunal Chhabra was under surveillance by gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who had handed over the responsibility of running the illegal call center to Nadir Shah. Nadir Shah has a rivalry with Anup Juneja. Nadir used the influence of his connections to cause harm to Lawrence Bishnoi and his group, thus hampering their operations. A senior police officer of Delhi Police’s special cell said Lawrence Bishnoi killed Nadir Shah through his associate Hashim Baba.
Video of Lawrence demanding blackmail from Chhabra goes viral
A video of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi threatening call center mafioso Kunal Chhabra in Dubai through a video call has also gone viral. The video was allegedly shot in 2023, in which Lawrence Bishnoi first identified himself to Kunal Chhabra through a video call and then blackmailed him through an audio call 5 Crores. Later, Kunal Chhabra lodged a complaint with the Delhi Police stating that Goldie Brar asked him to negotiate with two prisoners lodged in Patiala Jail in Punjab. Let us tell you that Goldie Brar is a member of Bishnoi gang.
