While Oppo has yet to reveal any details about the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro, they have reportedly appeared on multiple certification websites. Oppo Find X8 Pro has received certification from the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), which indicates that it can be sold in India, US, and other markets. The Oppo Find X8 series is also said to have appeared on the Indonesian Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) certification website, EEC and SGS Fimko.
Oppo Find X8 Pro appears on multiple certification websites
GizmoChina reports that an Oppo phone with model number CPH2659 has been listed on the BIS website, which is said to be related to the Find X8 Pro. The BIS certification website does not provide any specific details about the phone. However, a screenshot of the listing shared by the publication shows that the phone received certification on September 12.
According to the MySmartPrice report, in addition to the BIS certification, CPH2659 has also appeared on the NBTC, EEC, SGS Fimko and IMDA websites. The so-called NBTC certification confirms the name of the device, while the SGS Fimko listing reveals that the phone will support 80W fast charging for the first time.
Oppo Find X8 with model number CPH2651 has reportedly received certification from IMDA and EEC. The listings confirm the name and suggest that the phone will offer 5G, Bluetooth, NFC, eSIM, and Wi-Fi connectivity.
Meanwhile, OPPO Find X8 Pro is also said to have appeared in the camera FV-5 database. It will reportedly have a 23.8mm equivalent focal length and f/1.6 aperture. It also comes with a 12.6-megapixel sensor and is marketed as a 50-megapixel sensor with pixel binning. Photos taken with this sensor have a maximum resolution of 4096×3072 and support 1x magnification. It can also have a manual mode.
