Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah receives heavy blow from High Court in MUDA land scam. In this case, his petition against the Governor has been dismissed by the High Court. The High Court said during the hearing that there was a need to conduct an inquiry into the facts stated in the petition. The high court said it dismissed the petition.
In fact, the issue concerned a piece of land measuring 3.14 acres in the name of Siddaramaiah’s wife Parvati. The BJP has continuously attacked the chief minister and his government over the issue, accusing Siddaramaiah of corruption and demanding his resignation. In this case, Karnataka Governor Thawarchand Gehlot has approved prosecution of Siddaramaiah.
