UP state employees who do not provide details of their assets will not be able to receive their September salaries. Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar Singh has issued orders to all Additional Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries and Heads of Departments to pay September salaries only to officials and employees who have declared their assets on the ‘Manav Sampada Portal’. The last date for asset declaration is September 30.

As with employees, the responsibilities of the relevant DDO are also determined.

The Yogi government can also take strict action against the salary of the concerned DDO if the property details of the government employees are not provided. There is now just one week left until the last date to submit property details. The chief secretary’s order clearly states that only those employees who provide their property details on the ‘Manav Sampada Portal’ will get their September salaries. Not only that, the responsibility of review was also given to the DDO (Drawing And Disbursing Leader), who was also held accountable.

UP Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar Singh issued a clear order saying that it is necessary for all employees to provide details of their movable and immovable assets. As per the Chief Secretary’s order, 7,19,807 out of 8,44,374 state employees have provided their details as of September 12. According to sources, about 90% of employees have so far provided details of their assets.

At the request of employees, the time was extended by one month.

In fact, the Uttar Pradesh government has issued an order requiring all employees to declare their assets compulsorily. Details of the employee’s movable and immovable assets will be uploaded to the ‘Manav Sampada Portal’. Earlier, its deadline was August 31. Since then, at the request of employees, it has been extended by one month to September 30.

Now ahead of the last date, the Chief Secretary has written to the heads of departments requesting that the salaries of only those employees who are willing to provide details of their assets be released. For this purpose, the concerned DDO has assumed the responsibility of review. If the employee details are not uploaded, the salary of the concerned DDO will also be suspended.
