The first round admissions for 85% of the seats in Bihar medical colleges have been cancelled. The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has issued a cancellation notice. According to BCECEB, admission has been canceled due to changes in the issued transcript. It is understood that the window to change options will be open from September 24th to 25th.

The first round of admission certificate review will take place from September 28th to 30th. In fact, the whole incident is about the removal of Tanti or Tatwa caste from Pan Swasi. The Bihar government has ordered to remove the Tanti caste from Pan Swasi and restore its EBC quota. Tanti caste is mentioned in SC quota while applying online. Now give them a chance to make changes and direct the change of quota from SC to EBC. A total of 30 SC candidates have been converted to EBC quota. For this reason, the UGMAC-2024 winners list released on August 21 has changed.

Results will be announced on September 27

BCECEB said that due to changes in the merit list announced earlier, the first phase of counseling has been cancelled, and the nominations of all candidates have also been cancelled. The window for candidates to change their choices will now remain open on September 24-25. The results of the first round of seat allocation will be announced on September 27. The first round of nominations and certificate verification will take place from September 28th to 30th.
