Light rain is likely over Sikkim, West Bengal south of the Himalayas, Bihar, southeastern Uttar Pradesh, southeastern Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu and Lakshadweep.

Although the monsoon has withdrawn early from western Rajasthan, the approaching low pressure system (LPS) may delay the withdrawal of the monsoon from parts of northern and northwest India. However, the IMD estimates that the monsoon will gradually start withdrawing across the country by the second week of October.
